Delivery & Returns

Delivery Policy

All items purchased on this site will be delivered by courier service and delivery charges will be free on all items indicated. Delivery charges will only apply to larger type products and will be indicated at point of purchase.

All couriered items will be delivered between 9am and 5.30pm in general unless otherwise between you and the courier. Courier deliveries will be Monday to Friday only. Saturday deliveries will incur an additional cost. If, for some reason, you are not available to take receipt of a delivery, the courier will leave a card with details of the nearest depot and contact details and a reference number. This will allow you to arrange a re-delivery with the courier or collect the delivery from the depot.

Heavy or Delicate Items

All items of a large, heavy or delicate construction will be delivered by our own delivery service. In these circumstances we will phone to arrange a convenient date. This delivery service may incur an additional charge due to size, weight or delicate nature of product purchased. If this charge applies it will be shown at point of purchase.

Installation Policy

All products purchased online are strictly supply only. All technical installation instructions will be supplied with each product purchased where necessary.

In relation to all gas fire products we strongly recommend certified, registered gas fitters only.

In relation to all solid fuel products we strongly recommend using certified, registered installers only.

A register of certified installers / fitters is available from the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) for your area.

Installation of fireplaces from our company is only available on purchases from our showrooms and not online.

Returns Policy

All items for return must be in or with the original packaging and in perfect condition for re-sale with all parts complete and in perfect working order. We must be notified within (7) seven working days of delivery if you wish to return any product. You must check for damage or defect within this seven day period as we cannot accept returns outside of this period.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the good ordered are suitable for installation in your home and suitable for purpose intended. It is important that you study any technical specification on this website to ensure the product you order is suitable for installation in your home or commercial building, etc.

The fitting, by you, of any product within the seven day period will effect your right to cancel / return this product.

Delivery and collection charges may apply. Refunds will be by credit-card or cheque. To arrange a return you must notify us at info@oldcharmfireplaces.com quoting your original order number and reason for return. Once terms of a return are agreed the goods in question will be, once returned to us, thoroughly checked and if in acceptable condition a refund will be issued. Please be aware that while refunds will be issued promptly, it can take up to 30 days for the amount to appear on your card.

Should you be unable to return a product, we will arrange to collect same, however the cost of collection will be deducted from your refund prior to issue.

This policy does no effect your statutory rights.
